SPIDEY...!

Our local Dollar Theater has the new movie The Amazing Spiderman playing, so we decided to take the kids on over to watch it.
Noe and I had seen it ahead of time with some movie tickets he had gotten and decided it was safe enough for our kids to watch. What? The comic book movies have alot of bad words sometimes. I'm not a prude! Just protective.
For a movie theater treat, we snuck in these Spider Suckers we had made ahead of time.
I'm not condoning such behaviors.... they are immorally wrong, but morally right for our wallets. {smile}
I just thought these looked funny on the bowls....made me chuckle...so I threw this picture into the post.
Our family threw on our favorite Comic Book Shirts and headed off.....
Found these Spidey Rings in a stash of cool stuff in my room....
The older kids really loved the movie. My younger one was a bit scared of the Lizard. Licking her sucker and sitting on Daddy helped.
When we came home, the family made some Spiderwebs out of Coffee Filters. The kids {and my husband especially I might add} had a blast cutting them into webs. I found that stuff everywhere the next day.
We also water color painted the Coffee Filters {what I found a couple of packs in a drawer.} When they dried we cut them into Spiders.
I loved how they turned out....!
Why not make it a special Spidey Dinner then?
We busted out our Halloween Tablecloth for dinner.
Dessert were these Oreo Spiders.
I wanted to use licorice for legs but my girls said licorice was gross.
Peter Parker Pizza was the main thing.
If you have never had French Bread Pizza...please do. My Mom always made it growing up. Now it's my family's favorite homemade pizza. Simple, crunchy, delicious.
 More Spiders on the side.
Crackers with peanut butter in the middle.
To Drink, I had made red and blue ice cubes....then we put them in 7-Up.
We also had Green Goblin Salad.
It was a fun creepy crawly day...!
And I am sooooo pumped up for Halloween. It got me in the holiday mood.
