Polka. Dot. Cake.

It all happened when I saw the most amazing cake.
And I thought, I want to eat that cake. But who is going to make it?
I decided that I would, so I could have a bite of that cake....ok more like a big piece.
This Polka Dot Cake from Once Upon A Pedestal is beautiful. It did it's job by luring me in.
I could almost taste it, but first I would have to do the work.
First off, I don't have a Cake Pop Pan. I know, shocking. I make Cake Pops alot actually, but not baking them in that manner.
I would have to start off making Cake Pops in order to acquire my goal of eating the cake.
I made 1 box of White Cake Mix.
Next, I poured the batter into bowls. I used three bowls because that was how many color polka dots I wanted in the cake. You can do more or less.
 Using my Americolor food coloring, I colored the batter.
 Next, I scrounged up the smallest pans that I could find just to bake the cakes. We're going to tear them up anyways so it doesn't matter how they look. If you have oven proof bowls, you can even bake them in those.
 Once they came out of the oven, I put them in separate bowls and crumbled up the cake.
When making Cake Pops regularly, I do 1 box of Mix to about 3/4 of the Frosting Container.
Here since I divided it into thirds, I had to eyeball the frosting in each bowl.  You need them to be moist. It will be pliable, just like playdough.
{Then I would normally dip them in a chocolate coating to finish them off}
 Then from there, I just followed the directions from Once Upon A Pedestal.
I made another two batches of White Cake Batter.
I then put some of the White Batter down on the bottom of the Cake Pan {after greasing it.}
I formed Balls out of the Cake and put them on top of the Batter.
 More Batter went on top of the balls.
 After it came out of the oven and I went to put it on the rack, I turned it over and left it for a second and it completely fell apart. I think it was due to the weight of the cake. There was three batters all together mixed into these.
This was a first for me. Believe it or not, out of all the dumb things I've done....never had a cake fall apart extremely fast. Doesn't it look gorgeous inside though? All those Polka Dots...!
 So, I carefully flipped the second cake layer over as quickly as I could.
Beautiful...! Yes, I will eat you.
 After the fastest decorating session of my life, this beauty was done.
{BTW...if you know me, I usually never use store bought frosting. It was so good though}
And it was eaten.
Oh, man was I bad. I had been doing so great on eating healthy. I didn't even get up for a fork...!
Shame on me.
It was a beauty....!
