Have some fun indoors on the 4th with Homemade Glitter Playdough...!
It gets really hot where we live, so in between the water fights outside each day...the kids have to hydrate and take breaks inside as well. I try to make sure we have stuff planned so they don't go bonkers.
Homemade Playdough can keep them busy for a long time!
Mix 1 cup Flour, 1/2 cup Salt, 1 TB Cream of Tartar and 1 cup Water in a saucepan.
Mix 1 cup Flour, 1/2 cup Salt, 1 TB Cream of Tartar and 1 cup Water in a saucepan.
Stir on medium heat until it thickens up into a ball.
Take it off the stove and when it cools, add 1 TB Oil and food coloring.
Knead it all together.
Add glitter and knead it again.
Store in air tight container.
