Book Bash...!

My husband and I were just so proud of the kids this school year. All of them were outstanding. We wanted to have an extra celebration to award them for their behavior. We had thought that a Book Bash would be really appropriate for them.
Noah had gotten the most AR points out of the entire 4th grade, which means he read the most books and by alot..! Maelyn was done with her reading book months ago and got to go to the library and pick out books to read while the other kids did their work. Carmendee loves to read. She sits there and looks through the books all day long. Patience makes up her own stories with her imagination. It's her favorite thing to do.
I made my children some invites with my Cricut.
On the back they read "Come to a Book Bash! Book Worms Only!"
We snacked on....
Book Worms {gummi worms}, Apples, Crackers and Cheese, Book Sandwiches, Veggie Tray, Book Cake.
I told them to bring their invitations, so they kept them on them all day long until it was time.
They decorated Bookmarkers. They cut apples out of paper and glued green rik rak on it like a worm. The kids also played with Pipecleaners.
We played a game called Who Am I? I started off by naming clues of someone from a book and then they guessed who it was. Whoever got it right, got to say clues.
We gave each of the kids a book for their gift.

We ended the day by eating the cake and reading the littler girls books.
It was a great day for a Book Bash..!
