My husband traced these turkeys out of a book that we have, then he cut them out.
I was going to have the kids write what they were thankful for on the feathers, but the turkeys looked too silly to be serious!
So, I asked the kids what silly things they were thankful for....
These are all their answers, I didn't change them at all. A few things that Carmendee is thankful for are...the letter Ee, eating bananas and her Superman costume.
Patience is thankful for these silly things....chicken bones, gold sparkly nail polish and when Giselle eats strawberries.Sometimes it's the little, silly things that count in life that make us happy.

I have to do this! Thanks for this idea. We need to start doing some fun traditions and really remember to be thankful this season.
My kids come up with the same silly types of things to be thankful for, it cracks me up.
