Halloween Hair Flowers

I've been wanting to make some fabric hair flowers for awhile now. While I picked up the fabric for the Trick Or Treat Bags, I bought a whole yard of each kind. It was 50% off and I knew I wanted to make these. There are a ton of tutorials on the internet for these. They were really easy to make.

I had 3 types of fabric so I found 3 different sized circles around the house to trace. After I cut all three circles out, I had the kids (we all were involved) take their nails and pull the edges to fray the fabric. When they were frayed, I stacked the 3 different fabrics on top of each other. I used a needle and thread to sew them together in the middle. I used a button and sewn that on as well. There are so many fun options for centers!
For the back, I cut a strip of felt and hot glued the ends to the flower. I then hot glued one side of an alligator clip to the felt strip (I hot glued it for security, you don't need to though).
*Tulle was added in the middle of some. I made some flowers larger for bigger girls and some smaller.

This was the best picture I could get. She was mad because I wasn't taking a picture of her face! She kept turning and saying "cheese!"
